Code for “The Forgetting Curve Everyone Cites Is Ebbinghaus's Own Column, Relabeled”

refit_ebbinghaus_c6733.py fits three curve shapes to the seven savings values in Ebbinghaus's 1885 summary table by least squares, and first checks that his own formula, as coded, reproduces the calculated values he printed. It needs only Python. figures_c6733.py checks every quotation and figure in the essay against saved copies of its sources and recomputes the derived numbers; SOURCES.md lists those pages with their addresses and checksums, since the copies are not republished here. Each script's output, as run on September 23, 2026, is beside it.
