Avalon Park's Oktoberfest moves from Oct. 10 to Nov. 6-7

Avalon Park Orlando has postponed its Oktoberfest to Nov. 6-7, 2026. The organizer's page reads "OKTOBERFEST HAS BEEN POSTPONED" and "OKTOBERFEST NEW DATE". FOX 35 lists it as "Rescheduled to Nov. 6-7, 2026 (originally scheduled for Oct. 10)".

What changed

• The date: from Oct. 10 to Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026.
• Two different evenings: the organizer's schedule lists a "Beer Garden Preview in Town Park" on Friday and the "Community Festival & Beer Garden" on Saturday.
• What the festival offers, per the organizer: "Live Bands", "Alpine Dancing", a "Kids Area & Bounce Park" and "Weiner Dog Races", among others.

Why

• FOX 35 put it on a list it published on Oct. 8: "Some events and festivals have been canceled, postponed, or rescheduled in Central Florida as more rain is expected over the weekend, partly because of the far outer bands from Hurricane Isaias."
• The organizer's page gives no reason for the move.

When

• Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, 5-10 p.m.: the beer-garden preview.
• Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, 5-10 p.m.: the community festival and beer garden.

Where

• Avalon Park, Orlando. Friday's preview is in Town Park, per the organizer.

What it means if you live here

• If you planned on Oct. 10, come back on Nov. 6 for the preview or Nov. 7 for the full festival.
• Cost: Mommy Poppins calls it a "free family Oktoberfest event". The organizer's Oktoberfest listing read on Oct. 14 gives no price.
• Taking part: the organizer's page carries a "Vendor Application 2026:", "Volunteer Applications", "Car Show Registration" and the "Wiener Dog Derby".
