TAP Air Portugal schedules Orlando–Lisbon nonstop from October 29

TAP Air Portugal is scheduled to begin nonstop flights between Lisbon and Orlando International Airport on October 29, three times a week. Orlando International's own list of air service additions shows the route as "New route for MCO" and "Unserved Route", marked "Subject to Government Approval".

What changed

• A new nonstop: Lisbon (LIS) to Orlando (MCO) on TAP Air Portugal. Simple Flying says it gives TAP "its first-ever nonstop link to Central Florida".
• The days: Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, as TP267 from Lisbon and TP268 from Orlando.
• The aircraft: the latest November schedules show TAP's Airbus A330-900neo on all three weekly flights.
• Orlando becomes TAP's ninth U.S. destination. Its other eight are New York-JFK, Boston, Miami, Washington Dulles, Chicago O'Hare, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Newark.

• Still on the schedule: Orlando International's page lists the October 29 date as of September 30, 2026. The page also says "all future dates are tentative and may be subject to change."

What it means if you live here

• It is not yet final. The airport marks the route "Subject to Government Approval", and calls its future dates tentative.
• Tickets are on sale. They are bookable on TAP's website for dates beginning October 29.
• Departure times from Orlando: TP268 normally leaves Orlando at 9:40 PM on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and reaches Lisbon at 10:30 AM the next day. The October 29 and October 31 launch-week flights arrive in Orlando at 8:10 PM and depart at 10:40 PM.
• Beyond Lisbon: with Lisbon as TAP's global hub, Orlando passengers gain access to destinations in Europe such as Spain, France, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom.
• Fares: none of the four sources gives a fare. Tickets are sold on TAP's website.
