SSP America's release of Oct. 14, 2026 says BrewDog, Jam-Eng and Zaza Cuban Café & Bar "are scheduled to open at Orlando International Airport (MCO) later this year," in "the airport’s North Terminal Complex."
What changed
- BrewDog. The release describes an all-day format: "BrewDog will proudly pour Peet’s Coffee as part of an all-day experience that transitions seamlessly from morning coffee and breakfast to relaxed meals and drinks later in the day."
- Jam-Eng. A downtown Orlando quick-service restaurant founded by Caroline and Wayne Harvey, serving Jamaican and British food, "including jerk chicken, Jamaican patties, and classic British comfort food." Its one state food licence today is the downtown restaurant at 65 N. Orange Ave.
- Zaza Cuban Café & Bar. The Moodie Davitt Report says it "already has a presence at the airport." The state licenses a Zaza Cuban Comfort Food at 9702 Jeff Fuqua Blvd. The release calls the new one an all-day Cuban American concept with "handcrafted cocktails, locally brewed beers, and a full-service coffee program."
When
- "Later this year." Moodie puts it as "before the end of this year."
- The construction plans are approved. The state's plan-review file lists a BrewDog at 9202 Jeff Fuqua Blvd, filed by SSP America MCO II LLC on Feb. 24, 2026, with the status Approved with Provisos. It lists a Zaza New Cuban Diner at 9202 Jeff Fuqua Blvd Ste 4434, filed March 13, 2026, with the same status.
- Not open yet. As of Oct. 20, 2026, the state's licensee file has no BrewDog licence, and its only Jam-Eng licence is the downtown restaurant.
Where
- The North Terminal Complex at Orlando International Airport (MCO). The release gives no gate or unit for any of the three.
What it means if you live here
- More places to eat in the North Terminal later this year. SSP's release gives no opening day for any of the three, so check before a trip if you are counting on one.
- Jam-Eng's downtown restaurant still holds its state licence, at 65 N. Orange Ave., in today's state file.
