Oh Que Bueno plans an Altamonte Springs location in the former Bubbalou's at 1049 E. Altamonte Drive, Orlando Weekly reports

Orlando Weekly reports that Oh Que Bueno "will open a location in Altamonte Springs before the end of the year at 1049 E. Altamonte Drive, in the old Bubbalou’s Bodacious BBQ space". The report is in Faiyaz Kara's food news column of Oct. 23, 2026.

What changed

• The plan, as reported: Orlando Weekly describes Oh Que Bueno as "the local Colombian restaurant with locations on South Semoran and South OBT near the Florida Mall".
• The site: Restaurantji lists Bubbalou's Bodacious Bar-B-Que at that address as "CLOSED". A MapQuest place listing already names "Oh Que Bueno, 1049 FL 436, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701".

When

• Before the end of the year, per Orlando Weekly. No opening day has been given in the sources we read.

Where

• 1049 E. Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, in the old Bubbalou's Bodacious BBQ space.

What it means if you live here

• Not open yet. The restaurant's own website lists its two Orlando locations, at 8128 S Orange Blossom Trl and 1125 S Semoran Blvd, and does not mention Altamonte Springs.
• No state paperwork on file yet: Florida's food service licence file has no licence at 1049 E. Altamonte, and Seminole County's rows in the state plan review file have none for the address or the name, as of the files read on Nov. 2, 2026.
• Bubbalou's elsewhere: the state licence file lists an active Bubbalou's licence at 5818 Conroy Rd. in Orlando.
