Papa Bees, the Longwood chicken-wing restaurant, is moving to a new space on the same road, Orlando Weekly reports. It says Papa Bees "is moving out of its longtime home at 480 S. Ronald Reagan Blvd." and "will take over the larger space recently vacated by Holy City Zoo BBQ", "just up the road at 190 S. Ronald Reagan Blvd."
What changed
- The new space: the former Holy City Zoo BBQ space at 190 S. Ronald Reagan Blvd. Hoodline calls it "a 5,000-square-foot space". State plan-review records list Holy City Zoo's space there as unit #116.
- When the space emptied: Holy City Zoo BBQ "closed down in early June" after "only about two months in business", Orlando Weekly reported in its list of summer closings.
- The restaurant: Orlando Weekly says Papa Bees has served wings "Since 1986" and "started off as a humble wing joint on Curry Ford Road before settling into the northern fringes of suburbia". Its current owner is Lorie Hamm, per Orlando Weekly.
When

- The current location serves until then. Hoodline: "Current service will continue until the new location opens, with the old spot closing once the new one is up and running." Neither report gives a separate last day for the old location.
- Reported Oct. 21, 2026: Orlando Weekly's page data dates its article Oct. 21, 2026. Hoodline's report says the move was "first reported by Orlando Weekly".
Where

- From 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29: 190 S. Ronald Reagan Blvd., Longwood, the former Holy City Zoo BBQ space.
What it means if you live here
- Before Oct. 29, Papa Bees is at 480 S. Ronald Reagan Blvd.; from 4:30 p.m. that Thursday, Orlando Weekly says it is at 190.
- Who says so: the move rests on Orlando Weekly's report, which Hoodline follows. Papa Bees' own website still lists "480 S Ronald Reagan Blvd" as of Oct. 26, 2026, and the state's food-licence file read that day shows no Papa Bees licence at 190 yet. Check with the restaurant before you go.
