NowPacchioni's Cheesesteaks & Pizza, planned to open at this address in early December 2026, with cheesesteaks and pizza that Pacchioni says will not be Jersey-style.

Pacchioni's Cheesesteaks & Pizza is set to open at 2429 Edgewater Drive, in "the former Pizza Bruno space", in early December, with no exact day announced. Orlando Weekly wrote on Nov. 2 that "Pizza Bruno will fire its last tomato pie Saturday, Nov. 7".

What changed

  • The handoff. Orlando Weekly reports: "Zacchini will hand off the store to Daniel Pacchioni of Pacchioni's World-Inspired Cheesesteaks, now rebranded as Pacchioni's Cheesesteaks & Pizza." Pacchioni is "joined in the venture by friends/business partners Yeosh Bendayan and Jon Ruhff".
  • The state's record. Florida's owner-change file lists "Approve Change Owner Request" for Pacchioni's at this address, dated Oct. 27, 2026, and its licence file lists the new name at this address.
  • The reasons given. Orlando Weekly reports: "Zacchini cited personal issues for the closure, coupled with the expense of running the now-shuttered Pizza Bruno inside the Maitland Social, which impacted the profitability of the College Park location." It adds: "The rising cost of delivery fees also didn't help."
  • A shop for a food truck. QSR Magazine calls it the business's "first brick-and-mortar location", at about 1,500 square feet.

When

  • Pizza Bruno's last day here: Saturday, Nov. 7, by Orlando Weekly's story of Nov. 2, written before that date.
  • After that date: no report written after Nov. 7 was found, and this post did not visit the shop. Pizza Bruno's own site, read on November 8, 2026, still listed Edgewater, with "Closed • Opens Sunday at 11:30AM".
  • The opening: early December, by Orlando Weekly and QSR Magazine. QSR says the "official opening date will be announced in the coming weeks."

Where

  • The new shop: 2429 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, FL 32804. Pacchioni's own page reads "COMING SOON TO COLLEGE PARK".
  • The Pizza Bruno that continues: Curry Ford Road. Florida's licence file lists a licence at "3990 CURRY FORD RD, ORLANDO".

What it means if you live here

  • Different pizza at this address. Orlando Weekly reports that Pacchioni says they won't offer Jersey-style pies, and quotes a "fusion of a few styles" instead.
  • Cheesesteaks. Orlando Weekly reports new "versions of the cheesesteaks sold from the food truck, including the bread", with "fresh-baked rolls". The truck's menu includes The O.G., The K-Drama, The Island Spice, The Truffle Trésor and The El Dorado. No source read gives this shop's menu or prices.
  • Pizza Bruno itself. Orlando Weekly reports that owner Bruno Zacchini's focus is "the original Pizza Bruno on Curry Ford", and quotes him: "so don't expect another Pizza Bruno anywhere else anytime soon, if ever."
  • The food truck. Orlando Weekly reports Pacchioni saying "it'll be closed while they concentrate on opening College Park, but will roll into the Holiday Milk Mart Dec. 20 before commencing pop-ups in January." Milk Mart's own page gives "On December 20th, from 12pm-6pm", and does not name Pacchioni's.
  • Jobs. Pacchioni's page reads "WE ARE NOW HIRING FOR ALL POSITIONS".

What this rests on

  • The handoff and the dates: Orlando Weekly's reporting, the state's licence records, Pacchioni's own page and QSR Magazine.
  • The last day: Nov. 7 comes from Orlando Weekly.
  • Later news: four web searches on November 8, 2026 found no reversal and no report written after November 7; that is a few searches, not a full census.
