Orlando Fire & Flavor Festival moves to Jan. 9, 2027, and is now one day at Festival Park

The Orlando Fire & Flavor Festival has moved from Oct. 10-11, 2026 to Saturday, Jan. 9, 2027, and is now a one-day event. The organizer, Battle Bros Events, says: "Due to forecasted weather, Orlando Fire & Flavor Festival has been rescheduled to January 9th and will now be a ONE-DAY EVENT." Its Eventbrite listing gives the year: "Saturday, January 9, 2027 • 12 PM - 9 PM".

What changed

• The date: from Oct. 10 and 11, 2026 to Saturday, Jan. 9, 2027. FOX 35 lists it as "Rescheduled to Jan. 9, 2027 (originally scheduled for Oct. 10 & 11)".
• The length: two days become one.
• The reason: the organizer cites "forecasted weather". FOX 35 put the festival in a list of Central Florida events moved "as more rain is expected over the weekend, partly because of the far outer bands from Hurricane Isaias." That is FOX 35's description of the weekend, not the organizer's own wording.
• What stays: Bungalower, which calls it "The inaugural Orlando Fire & Flavor Festival", reports that it "will still feature spicy food creations priced at $10 or less, hot sauce vendors, pepper challenges, eating competitions, live music, specialty drinks, a marketplace, free axe throwing and activities for kids." Bungalower also reports that "A portion of the proceeds will benefit local nonprofit One Heart for Women and Children".

When

• New date: Saturday, Jan. 9, 2027, noon to 9 p.m. The Eventbrite listing's status is scheduled.
• Announced: FOX 35's list carried the new date by Oct. 8, 2026, before the original weekend. Its page data dates the list 7:53 p.m. EDT that day. Bungalower reported it on Oct. 22, 2026.
• Last checked: the organizer's page and its Eventbrite listing were re-read on Oct. 26, 2026, and both still give Jan. 9.

• Festival Park, 2911 E. Robinson St., Orlando, the same venue as before.

What it means if you live here

• Already have tickets? The organizer says: "Already have tickets? Your tickets have automatically been transferred to the new date."
• Nothing to do: Bungalower reports that organizers say there is "no additional action required".
• Price: the organizer's page lists admission at "$10 per person, per day" (the festival is now one day) and "KIDS 8 YEARS & UNDER GET FREE ENTRY". It warns that "TICKET PRICES WILL INCREASE the week of the event". On Oct. 26, Eventbrite's listing data showed tickets at $12.57, in stock.
