Tako Cheena is moving back to its original storefront at 932 N. Mills Ave., no opening date yet

Tako Cheena posted on Instagram on Oct. 15, 2026 that the move had started. The post says "today we began", followed by the line "Bringing Tako Cheena Back Home!" Bungalower reported the next day that the restaurant "announced Thursday that it is leaving its current location at 948 N. Mills Avenue, across from Wally’s Tavern, and returning to its original storefront a few doors down at 932 N. Mills Avenue."

What changed

• The restaurant is going back to its original location. Its post says: "Soon you can visit us @ our original 932 N. Mills Ave. location!"
• The original storefront was later a pizzeria, now closed. Bungalower says: "Its original storefront later became Pop’s Pizzeria, a sister concept that has since closed."
• The state has licensed the new address. Florida's food-licence records list a Tako Cheena licence at 932 N. Mills Ave. and show a licensing inspection there recorded as "Inspection Completed - No Further Action" on Oct. 16, 2026.
• The 948 N. Mills Ave. licence is still on file, so the state records show both addresses licensed.

• No opening date has been announced. The restaurant says only "We soon will be open". Bungalower says that "an opening date hasn’t been announced."
• Plans for 932 N. Mills Ave. were reported in June. What Now Orlando said that it "came across a plan review submitted by Soytako LLC for a TaKo Cheena restaurant that would open at 932 N Mills Avenue."
